January 1

City of Reno – Sewer Project

Design and construction of a new force-main. The new forcemain will be constructed from the Golden Valley Lift Station, run west to Virginia Street, and then run south to terminate at the existing gravity line at Security Circle.

August 1

Sky Vista Widening Rehabilitation Project

Widening from one lane in each direction to two lanes in each direction with a center turn lane and rehabilitation of Sky Vista Parkway from Silver Lake Drive to just east of Sky Vista Parkway.

NDOT US 395 North Valleys Phase 1B

This phase will include a third southbound travel lane, auxiliary lanes between the interchanges in both the northbound and southbound directions, new braided ramp at Panther Valley and the rehabilitation of the existing roadway.

Lear Lift Station Replacement Project

Talus/Moraine Street and Sewer Project

The project consists of the rehabilitation of eight (8) streets and the replacement and relocation of select sanitary sewer and storm drain main along Talus Way, Lodestar Lane, Gypsum Road and Moraine Way.

Mayors Park Phase III – Construction Spring 2023

The project includes installation of an inclusive playground structure, completion of a lighted flat field and ADA, fencing and irrigation system upgrades. View the Staff Presentation for more information, including project renderings and milestones. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2023.

Phase 1B: Future Widening of U.S. 395 Between North McCarran Blvd. and Golden Valley Rd.

To enhance traffic mobility and safety, NDOT is currently conducting environmental review and design engineering, and anticipates beginning construction on the following U.S. 395 North Valleys improvement project by 2023.

Raleigh Heights Rehabilitation Project

Work includes roadway rehabilitation, removal and replacement of degraded curb and gutter, upgrading pedestrian ramps to be ADA compliant, installation of new catch basins to improve drainage, removal of bus stops, striping and signage improvements.

North Virginia Street Capacity Project

Part of RTC’s Pavement Preservation Program, this project will reconstruct the pavement on North Virginia Street from the Lawlor roundabout to North McCarran Boulevard. Anticipated improvements include roadway reconstruction, bike lanes, and other roadway appurtenances as deemed necessary, such as portions of sidewalk, curb and gutter, and median.

RTC Lemmon Drive Segment 2

The project includes widening Lemmon Drive from US 395 to Military Road from four lanes to six lanes (Segment #01) and widening Lemmon Drive from Fleetwood Drive to Ramsay Way from two lanes to four lanes (Segment #02).
